Cardinals vs Packers preseason odds have Arizona at a 56c consensus moneyline price (56c Kalshi, 56c Polymarket) for the final preseason game of 2026, unmoved across every capture in our snapshot window. Arizona is 1-2 in preseason and Green Bay 1-1, but the game kicks off at 8:00 p.m. ET Friday, August 28 at Lambeau Field, two days before the 6 p.m. ET Sunday cut to 53 players, and neither team has announced who plays. The live board above carries the current prices across $24.7K of lifetime volume.
Arizona is the 56c consensus moneyline favorite (56c on Kalshi, 56c on Polymarket) on the road at Lambeau Field, and a road favorite in the last week of the preseason is a statement about who dresses, not about who is better. This is the final week of the 2026 NFL preseason: the Cardinals (1-2 in preseason, including the Hall of Fame Game) visit the Packers (1-1) on Friday, August 28 at 8:00 p.m. ET, two days before the 6 p.m. ET Sunday deadline to cut to 53 players. Neither club has published a participation plan. The moneyline has not moved across any snapshot we hold, on $24.7K of lifetime volume across the two platforms.
The moneyline is pinned. Kalshi printed Arizona at 56c in all 18 captures on our series, from Tuesday, August 25 at 12:20 p.m. ET through Wednesday, August 26 at 11:56 a.m. ET, and Green Bay at 45c in 50 of 51 captures with a single 46c tick. Polymarket moved one cent on the Packers side over the same window, 45c to 44c, and held Arizona flat at 56c. One caveat on that read: the snapshot series this board carries reaches back roughly 24 hours, not to the market's open, so "held" is scoped to the captures we actually have rather than to the full life of the contract.
The total is the only line on this board that moved and the only one where the two books disagree. Kalshi's over 36.5 went from 55c on Tuesday, August 25 at 2:24 p.m. ET to 58c by midday Wednesday, August 26. Polymarket's same line went 55c to 56c and ranged 53c to 56c over a longer series. That leaves a 3c cross-platform gap, 58c on Kalshi against 55c on Polymarket, and Polymarket is the cheaper venue for the over. Kalshi carries $6.0K of lifetime volume on that line against Polymarket's $1.9K and is the book that actually moved, so the sensible read is Polymarket lagging a Kalshi move rather than a genuine disagreement about how many points get scored. There is no gap at all on the moneyline.
The alternate ladders put a number on the margin. Kalshi prices Arizona -1.5 at 53c, Arizona -2.5 at 49c, and Arizona -3.5 at 45c, so the implied margin sits a shade over two points. Polymarket lists Arizona -1.5 at 53c, matching Kalshi to the cent on the only spread rung the two books share. That lands on the Arizona -2.5 that ESPN lists from DraftKings. Kalshi's over ladder crosses 50% between over 37.5 (51c) and over 38.5 (49c), so the market's median expectation for combined points is roughly 38, a half point to a point above the DraftKings 37.5. Green Bay's DraftKings moneyline of +122 implies about 45%, which is the Kalshi price exactly.
Liquidity is one-sided. Kalshi holds $23.4K of the board's $24.7K in lifetime volume against Polymarket's $2.0K. Green Bay's moneyline leg is the single busiest contract at $10.1K lifetime, ahead of the over/under 36.5 total at $7.9K and Arizona's moneyline leg at $3.4K. Polymarket's activity is concentrated almost entirely in the total ($1.9K of its $2.0K), so its moneyline is quoting Kalshi rather than trading independently, and any late participation news will price on Kalshi first.
The final preseason week is the least predictive game on the calendar, and this one falls two days before cuts. Most established starters around the league sit this week, and the bulk of the snaps go to players competing for the last spots on a 53-man roster. A team that is better on paper can be the underdog on the field purely on who suits up, which is the most likely explanation for a 1-2 road team being priced over a 1-1 home team.
The preseason statistical leaders are the available evidence, and they point the same way. Green Bay's preseason passing leader is Kyle McCord at 12 of 19 for 118 yards, not Jordan Love. Arizona's is Gardner Minshew II at 19 of 23 for 177 yards with an interception, not Jacoby Brissett, whom ESPN lists atop the Cardinals depth chart. Neither starter has carried this preseason, and neither club has said what happens Friday. The two teams also held a joint practice in Green Bay on Wednesday, August 26, which is customarily where coaching staffs take the starter reps they intend to skip in the game itself. Treat any claim about who plays as unconfirmed until an inactive list posts.
Known absences are sourced and narrow. For Green Bay, Micah Parsons is set to open the season on the PUP list recovering from a torn ACL, Luke Musgrave is expected to remain on PUP with a neck injury, and Tucker Kraft is working back from a torn ACL. For Arizona, rookie running back Jeremiyah Love is unlikely to play again this preseason after a high ankle sprain on the final snap against Las Vegas, third quarterback Carson Beck has sore ribs, and edge rusher Josh Sweat was activated from the PUP list on August 25 after a knee injury that had held him out since July. ESPN's Cardinals roster projection also notes that James Conner did not take a single 11-on-11 snap in camp.
Two coaching threads run through this game and neither is a price input. Mike LaFleur is in his first season as Cardinals head coach and is the younger brother of Matt LaFleur, in his eighth season running the Packers. Jonathan Gannon, who spent three seasons as the Cardinals head coach, is now Green Bay's defensive coordinator. Those are storylines for a game most of both starting rosters will spend on the sideline. The forecast at Lambeau is mostly sunny and 72 degrees per ESPN, which takes weather out of the total.
Preseason results do not carry into the regular season. Green Bay is 0-0 at home and 1-1 on the road this preseason and this is its only home exhibition; Arizona is 1-0 on the road with losses at home to Carolina and Dallas. Neither line of that record tells you anything about September.
The market resolves on the final score of the game at Lambeau Field on Friday, August 28, 2026, kickoff scheduled for 8:00 p.m. ET (7:00 p.m. CT local), carried on the Packers TV Network. The moneyline pays out on the outright winner, the spread contracts settle against the official margin, and the over/under 36.5 total settles on combined points including overtime. Both Kalshi and Polymarket settle once the game is declared final on its scheduled date. Contracts are graded on the game result alone and are unaffected by which players appear.
Participation announcements: Neither Arizona nor Green Bay has published a plan for the finale, and a Friday inactive list or a coach's statement is the single largest input on this board.
The Sunday cut deadline: Rosters must be at 53 players by 6 p.m. ET Sunday, August 30, which pushes Friday's snaps toward bubble players on both sides.
Quarterback usage: Kyle McCord (12 of 19, 118 yards) and Gardner Minshew II (19 of 23, 177 yards) have led their teams in preseason passing, and whether Jordan Love or Jacoby Brissett takes a snap decides the shape of the game.
The 3c total gap: Kalshi has over 36.5 at 58c against Polymarket's 55c after Kalshi moved three cents and Polymarket did not, the only cross-platform disagreement on the board.
Kalshi-led liquidity: Kalshi holds $23.4K of the $24.7K in lifetime board volume against Polymarket's $2.0K, so late news prices on Kalshi first and Polymarket follows.
Roster-bubble injuries: Jeremiyah Love (high ankle) is out for Arizona, Josh Sweat returned from PUP on August 25, and Green Bay is without Micah Parsons, Luke Musgrave, and full-strength Tucker Kraft.
For the wider board on either club, the Arizona Cardinals hub and the Green Bay Packers hub carry every live market on each team, and the NFL hub lists the rest of the slate, including the other Friday finale on the Buccaneers vs Jaguars board. Arizona's regular season opens on the road against the Chargers, and that Cardinals vs Chargers Week 1 market is the first board that actually prices this roster. Season-long markets belong here as context and nothing more: the Cardinals 2026 win total and the Packers 2026 win total price full-season outcomes, and a Friday night exhibition played largely by players who will not be on either roster by Sunday evening does not move them.
The moneyline resolves to the team that wins the game played at Lambeau Field in Green Bay on Friday, August 28, 2026, with kickoff scheduled for 8:00 p.m. ET. Each team contract pays $1 per share if that team wins the game and $0 otherwise. Spread contracts settle against the official final score, so Arizona -2.5 pays only on a Cardinals win by three points or more, and the over/under 36.5 total settles on combined points scored by both teams including overtime. Kalshi and Polymarket both settle once the game is declared final on its scheduled date. If the game is postponed past the scheduled resolution date, canceled, or otherwise voided, each platform applies its own void and refund rules rather than rolling the contract forward. Contracts grade on the result only and are not affected by which players appear.
As of midday Wednesday, August 26, 2026, Arizona is 56c on both Kalshi and Polymarket for a 56c consensus, and Green Bay is 45c on Kalshi and 44c on Polymarket. Kalshi has printed Arizona at 56c in all 18 captures in our snapshot series since August 25.
The game trades on both Kalshi and Polymarket. Kalshi carries the deeper book with $23.4K of the $24.7K in lifetime board volume plus a full spread ladder from Arizona -1.5 to -16.5, while Polymarket lists the moneyline, an Arizona -1.5 spread, and the over/under 36.5 total.
Arizona is favored at 56c, an implied probability of about 56%, on the road at Lambeau Field. Kalshi's spread ladder implies a margin a shade over two points, matching the Arizona -2.5 that ESPN lists from DraftKings, whose Green Bay moneyline of +122 implies about 45%.
It resolves after the game at Lambeau Field on Friday, August 28, 2026, scheduled for 8:00 p.m. ET, which is 7:00 p.m. CT locally. Both platforms settle once the final score is official, with spread and total contracts graded against that score.
Participation news is the whole story. This is the final preseason week and the 53-man cut deadline is 6 p.m. ET Sunday, August 30, so most established starters are expected to sit and neither team had announced a plan as of August 26. Preseason results do not carry into the regular season.
